Growing up I was not athletic at all, I didn’t play any sports in school. Never worked out in my early twenties. It wasn’t until after I had my first son that I even stepped foot in a Crossfit gym. I am grateful everyday for the lifestyle change. I realized that I wanted to be healthy and strong not only for me but my newborn baby. I needed to start healthy habits that I could pass on to my children. Since starting Crossfit I can run, I can lift, I am mentally stronger with more confidence than ever before. I’ve done 5ks, a 9/11 stair climb (with full firefighter bunker gear on), an in-house competition and most recently, completed my Crossfit Level I certification. I look forward to further bettering myself and serving our members.
